Biography
Hollister Rand Hollister Rand grew up on the East Coast. She is the daughter of two dear, unsuspecting schoolteachers who fostered her sensitivities but were a bit perturbed when she received accolades for writing stories about DEATH at her Catholic High School. Little did they know!

From a very young age, Hollister did not understand the concept of death. No matter how much a well meaning

family tried explaining that her grandfather, Pop Pop had died, she was very sure that he wasn’t gone. After all, Pop Pop stood at the foot of her bed every night and smiled at her!

After a stint as a gospel singer who was convinced that she was "talking to heaven," Hollister fled the East Coast for California rather than be burned at the stake. Of course, this is probably an overstatement, but she did realize that her "born again" audience might not understand her ability to talk with Uncle Joe and Aunt Sal, both dead for more than a year.

It was in California that Hollister found her home - and others like herself who saw death as a beginning, not as an end. She listened to what people on both sides of life had to say, and realized that bringing them together could help everyone involved to grow, change, and find peace.

After working with well known and respected mediums, Hollister decided to strike out on her own, bringing her special sense of humor, unique sensitivity and desire to share knowledge to those who want to again "touch" their loves ones.

Hollister Rand lives in California with her parrot, Kriken and her two Manx cats, Isis and Ra. She enjoys her many visitors, both seen and unseen.

"The purpose of mediumship is not to find out whether one will win the lottery, but to continue a relationship in a different way. It is never to late to say, ‘I love you’ or ‘I’m sorry.’ It is never too late to give or receive forgiveness. Those opportunities do not end with what we call death."
